We are thrilled to share that our very own Dr. Erin Brockhaus has received the Ortu Stella Award from the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA)—an incredible honor!

The MVMA is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in veterinary medicine while supporting the health and welfare of animals and their owners across Missouri. The Ortu Stella Award is given to a veterinarian who shines brightly, aids comrades in navigating the veterinary profession, assists in illuminating the path for those around them, and/or demonstrates that they habitually strive to rise to the occasion.

Dr. Brockhaus was nominated by three individuals who each submitted heartfelt statements sharing why she is so deserving of this recognition. Nina, Steve, and Brock—one of the nominators—had the privilege of being present when the award was presented by Dr. Erica Nowlin, making the moment even more special.
