Dr. Susan Schatz

Dr. Susan Schatz joined the veterinary team at Lee’s Summit Animal Hospital in September 2015. Originally from Charles City, Iowa, Dr. Schatz earned both her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University, graduating from veterinary school in 2000.

Before joining Lee’s Summit Animal Hospital, Dr. Schatz spent 15 years practicing small animal and exotic medicine in Grain Valley. She has a passion for caring for both small animals and exotic pets and brings extensive experience and exceptional surgical skills to our team.

Dr. Schatz lives in Lee’s Summit with her husband, Brian, and their two children, Leah and Daniel.
